Super Car Sunday 2/2

Last month I noticed that the car lovers were arriving closer to 8:00am than 7:00. So, I decided to get an extra 30 minutes of sleep and leave the house at 7:00am. Good choice, the sun was up and the sky was blue without a cloud.

When I arrived at Pierce College the lot was half empty and Dex Kaytis was chiding me for being late.

The marque for this Sunday was Hot Rods, but there were only a few on hand, since the schedule was only released a few days before the event. The marque schedule did have a surprise; next month's first Sunday is Lotus and British cars, so lets have a really good turnout March 1st! Fred Cohen showed up in his "nasty boy" 100M. After greeting him and exchanging a few pleasantries I headed to the food truck and grabbed a breakfast burrito and a coffee. When I had finished eating I took a quick stroll through the cars and then Dex, Fred and I pulled up our chairs and talked cars.

That's when member Jack Gies and his daughter Julia stopped by to say hello.

Jack's Healey is at the paint shop and Jack is still looking for miscellaneous parts in order to put the car back together.
