Well, it looks like Summer has arrived, the heat index is soaring and hopefully everyone’s car is staying cool. I am debating on either putting on an auxiliary fan or adding an oil cooler. While the oil cooler makes more sense it is a more expensive option. Decisions / Decisions! For August we are only having one club event, the Enderle Car Show in Tustin on August 18th. So no excuse for not attending some of the recurring weekend events.
Then many of us are having our cars loaded on September 1st for the 2019 Conclave in Deadwood, South Dakota. September will be a light month for Club events with only one event, the Dana Point Lantern District Show on the 22nd.
This is a great event with the city closing off the streets, there are lots of spectators, and numerous restaurants to enjoy. And it will be after our travelers return from Deadwood.
In October we will be back to having two Club events on back to back weekends; the Laguna Beach Classic Car Show on October 6th and the San Diego British Car Day on the 12th. If you have never made it to the San Diego event it is well worth attending.
I am still looking at the Nethercutt Museum for a possible Club Event for November but would like some recommendations if that does not pan out.
See you all at the events
