A small Cars & Coffee event has been getting together in South OC for several months. This is a hold over of the original OC Cars & Coffee at Crystal Cove, before it moved to Irvine, then Aliso Viejo and finally San Clemente. This small group of cars (20-40) quietly “reoccupied” the Crystal Cove parking area but were thrown out again several months ago. Since then, a group of diehards have been rotating amongst several locations each Saturday morning, including the Salt Creek parking lot, near the Ritz Hotel, the Wind & Sea restaurant parking area in the Dana Point Harbor and occasionally at the Lyons Air Museum at the OC airport. An email goes out each week announcing the location of the latest week’s event…usually sent out by Richard Schnyder or Alice Johnson.
