Supercar Sunday 1/7

It was very cold this morning as I headed to Pierce College. I could have been mistaken for Nanook of the North, I was so bundled up. I arrived at Pierce College to find very few cars on hand. A sprinkling of hot rods and muscle cars, the Marque this month. People may have been put off by the cold. Shortly after parking I was joined by Fred Cohen in his Datsun 510. Then Jack Gies rolled up in his BJ8 and that was it for the Austin Healey Club.

There were nice examples of hot rods, rat rods, and muscle cars. Plus, a number of pickups that represented different points on the timeline. I also saw a very nice Alfa and an older Morris Minor.

By 9:15 I decided I had to get warm, so I fired up the BJ7 and headed for home. A very small turnout of members, but a larger turnout of cars as the sun finally started to warm things up. So, until next month: February 4th is the date. The Marque hasn’t been decided.
