Hope everyone has been staying dry lately and from what I hear the rain will not be letting up any time soon. Therefore, the people putting on the San Juan Capistrano show are postponing it until the 10th; if you could not make the 3rd and still want to attend registration is still open. Just click on the link on the events calendar.
The Girst March event is the Festival of Whales at the Dana Point Harbor on March 3rd. Space is limited, and it is my understanding there is a wait list. If you are interested in showing your car you need to contact Mike Scroggie ASAP. For those up North or not able to make the Dana Point show, the featured Marque for the March 3rd Super Car Sunday is Lotus and British Cars and is also a club event.
In April we hopefully will have several Club events if the Queens English show happens on the 28th with a Tech Session at my shop in Harbor City after the British Car Show at Golden Cove on the 21st including a scenic drive around the PV Peninsula on the way to my shop. Also, the British Car Swap meet at Steve Kirby’s shop is scheduled on the 27th.
May is the California Healey Week the 13-17th and contact Steve Kirby if you are interested in joining his follow up excursion to the Healey gathering in British Columbia. Also, I am thinking about putting together a drive to Bakersfield on the Friday after Healey Week and spending the weekend at the British Extravaganza event. If at all interested let me know! I just returned from Scottsdale where I sold one of the Bugeye’s I have restored and more on that next month.
Happy Healeying!
