December 10th, better known as “2fer Sunday”, started at the Balboa Fun Zone in Newport Beach where the 4 Amigos met up (Chuck, Dex, Phil, and Tim), and where we were surprised by a light turnout. We headed over to our favorite donut shop for a great breakfast and hoped we would return to the Fun Zone to see more cars. It didn’t happen.
So, the next order of business was to decide whether to take the ferry from the Fun Zone or just get to the freeway for our next stop at Legacy in Tustin. Dexter’s low ground clearance settled that question and we took the express route to Legacy.
Glad we did. The lot was almost full of Italian sports cars – the featured car for December. Phil was very excited to be surrounded by so many Alfa Romeos. All I can say is, “WOW”. Thanks to Tim for the photos! A nice morning for two cars and coffee events. Great weather and great company.
