Super Car Sunday 5/7

The weather was cooperating, light clouds with sunshine later in the morning, so I headed out to Pierce College for Ferrari Day at Super Car Sunday. Arriving in the parking lot shortly after 7:00am, I found it very sparsely occupied. There was one familiar car in the lot, Jack Gies,  and I parked next to him. Jack got busy applying tire- dressing to my tires, a fun activity for him, while I headed  for the food truck and a breakfast burrito and coffee.

As the time moved closer to 8am, the lot started to Pill up with a wide variety of cars and the Ferrari corral also saw more cars of different body styles and years of manufacture. A couple of club members arrived, Fred Cohen in his Datsun 510 and Steve Karolyi in his BT7, which was sporting a For Sale sign.

Once breakfast was done it was time to take a walk through the aisles of cars. What was interesting was the two Fords separated by about 30 years, and how their appearance had changed.

The yellow Ferrari took that theme even further into the future.
