Every month I write about the turnout and Healeys at the UA Meet. Well, we had another great turnout with 6 Healeys and 14 Healeyphiles on this rare dry and sunny morning.

Now for the updates, Jack Gies was on hand with a little “show and tell” of his oil cooler project, showing the painted assembley with oil cooler, bracket and expanded metal screen. Phil Caliva was with his nephew Ryun from Texas and Dex Katix was there as well with his daughter Wendy. Art Perez and Amanda Cole were there in their ‘64 Classic Riviera.

Regarding the Riviera, I could look at the GM details on the classic cars, noting the trim, factory metal and interior. All assembled for just a couple of years until a new style was released. Rounding out the group was Tim McNiff in his BJ7, Dan Burrola driving his BJ8, unknown attendee in Jensen Healey and Mark LeVoe in his square-body Sprite. Getting to the UA later was Lon Bender sans Healey and George McHarris in his BN2. After lots of car talk, car viewing, and personal conversation we were on our way to Magpie’s for breakfast and more Healey Talk.

Next month we will be meeting at the UA prior to our tour of the Nethercutt Museum. Plan to join us at the UA on April 15th.

Until then
