Happy Holidays to our Healey members, families and loved ones. This is such a GREAT time of year. I hope you were all able to enjoy Thanksgiving with your families and friends making more great memories.

Upcoming events/ Get-togethers- Don’t forget to sign up for our holiday party. It is planned for Dec 11th at the Shoreline Yacht Club once again. It will be a GREAT opportunity to catch up with friends and fellow Healey enthusiasts. The registration cutoff for the holiday party is Dec 6th.
Information is on our club website and don’t forget to bring an unwrapped toy to the Holiday party for the Toys for Tots collection. Greg will also be putting out information on other get- togethers, potentially including the pre-Rose Parade drive on New Year’s Day along the route and potentially the Tour d’Orange also on New Year’s Day.
Recent Events- November was a busy month with some fun gatherings including the Planes of Fame Air Museum tour on the 5th and the Heroes & Hot Rods show on the 20th (see separate write- ups). Both events had great representation by our club members and friends. We helped the Planes of Fame Air Museum by providing additional interest for the museum by having our cars available for display among several of their aircraft as they continue to recover from the pandemic impacts. 51 club members, family, and friends attended the museum tour.
Dues renewal- We have been working with the national club on the 2023 dues this last month.
The amount was Rinalized after quite a bit of spirited discussion at the delegates meeting in the middle of November. The announcement for the local AHASC members has been pushed by Mike Scroggie. The local dues have increased from $30 to $35/year to cover the insurance increase from the national club. The announcement for the national club dues renewal should be out in a few days. The dues are to be increased from $50 to $70/year, primarily driven by the increased cost to publish the Marque magazine and increased insurance costs. The details will be in a forthcoming email. Please sign up as soon as possible.
See you at the Holiday party and hopefully on the drives. I hope you get a chance to get your Healeys out touring the decorated streets and neighborhoods in your local area. It makes for more great memories with friends and loved ones. And continue to join the local shows and drives. We really are lucky to be able to drive year-round. Many of the national club members were lamenting how they had to retire their cars for 4-6 winter months every year waiting until the weather is good enough to go for drives.
