We are so fortunate to have one of the best Cars and Coffee locations in Southern California right in our own backyard. Besides the spacious venue, wide variety of cars, proximity to the Angeles Crest highway and high number of local Healeys; we have great turn outs of the membership. This week we had 12 members and 10 Healeys on hand. Not bad for mid-Summer.

Dan Burrola was there with his ‘64 BJ8 in white with a red interior. A stunning restoration which, to my knowledge, made its debut at Conclave. I had a good chance to look over the car and it is a superb restoration. The color choices, added accessory gages and overall appearance was a winner in my opinion.

We also had Phil Caliva, George Merino and Frank Powell making the trip to La Canada from really far out of the area, just to spend a time with their fellow Healey enthusiasts. As Steve Gerow has said, this is an opportunity to talk about Healeys with those people who really care.

Our next meet is on Saturday, August 21st. Stop by the UA and talk about your Healey with people who care.

Until then . . .

Members: Lon Bender, Dan Burrola, Phil Caliva, Jon Doherty, Steve Gerow, John Hedblom, Emil Joseph, Tim McNiff, George Merino, Frank Powell, Peter Roses, and Dennis Williams.
