Well, it looks like most of the Covid restrictions are behind us now and things are getting back to normal. Many of the community car shows that were cancelled in 2020 and delayed earlier this year are coming back on the calendar. So, keep a look out for notices of the rescheduled events as I learn of them. I just received notification that early bird registration for the Dana Point Lantern District Show on October 17th is now open at www.danapointcarshow.com.
The Conclave is behind us so everyone can take a deep breath and relax. Thanks again to all the volunteers who stepped up and took over my duties, as Sandra and I were in a serious auto accident the Wednesday before the event and were unable to make it up there. But the good news is that we are both “on the mend” as they say and recovering well.
I am looking forward to doing the drive up to Oregon and back for the Lewis & Clark Rally and getting some long-anticipated seat time in my Healey since I missed all the fun in Big Bear.
