The weather for this month’s Belmont Shore British Car Night was just about perfect. It is good to have that famous Southern CA balmy weather when compared to last month’s cold and damp that kept those of us with no stamina, namely me, from attending.
Even with the nice weather we had a light turn out of British cars. Being that it’s a mid-week evening event you’re never sure who will show up.
There was a red over cream 1958 100-6 with front drum brakes that parked next to us. The owner is not a member yet, but we are working on that! There were 4 MGA’s attending.
We even had a party crasher with his 1950ish GMC truck park alongside of us. It was just a great night to meet up with other British car owners who enjoy getting their cars on the road. I am optimistic that the summer months will bring more cars. Remember, you need to get those cars out for some test drives before the Big Bear Conclave.
Club members attending: Bob Bolling, Phil Caliva, Chuck Lakowski, and Paul Van Wig
