On the 97th day of the Corona Virus lock down we had our Birst UA Meet of Austin Healeys on Saturday June 20th. With mixed trepidations and concerns about virus transfer, we still had 12 members and 10 Healeys gather at the UA. Driving "Big" Healeys were Jeff Boysen, Peter Roses, Dex Kaytis, Phil Caliva, Tim McNiff, Lou Fisher, and Jon Doherty. Bugeye Sprite drivers were John Hedblom and Emil Joseph while Chuck Lakowski was in his Jensen Healey and Dennis Williams turned heads with his Ferrari Dino. Steve Gerow drove a modern car! The guys spent the hour or so catching up with one another and checking out the Healeys and other cars and motorcycles on display and of course how the virus has changed whatever was normal.
A smaller number of members then moved on to breakfast and continued the discussion on future Healey drives and Conclave at Big Bear next May.
Plan to join us at our annual Tech Session on July 18th, we will Birst meet at the UA at 7:00 AM and move up to 5132 Ocean View for our Tech Session. Hope to see you next month. Peter.
