From the Vice President

Published on 5/2/2019

May is upon us and many of us are looking forward to spending a great week in Temecula.  A few of us are heading up to Buttonwillow Raceway to take in the races at the British Extravaganza and participate in the car show and on-track tours.  Also, do not forget about the Scottish Games British Car show at the Orange County Fairgrounds on the 25th and 26th.

In June we have another busy month with three club events; starting with the British Car Show at the Automobile Driving Museum in El Segundo on the 8th and then the English Motors at Fairbrook on the 16th and Cinally, thanks to member Thomas Mauss, the club has been invited by the organizers of the Wings Over Fullerton Airplane Show to show our Healey’s at the event on June 22nd . For those that had attended the Wings, Wheels & Rotors event before it got cancelled, this appears to be a similar fun day with great food, airplane demonstrations and our cars being spotlighted at the event. There is no cost to show your Healey and they say they have room for a maximum of 20 cars.  So let’s try to Cill it up with our  Healey’s and put on a great show for the attendee’s. If interested sign up on the event page on the website. For those that don't get enough at Fullerton there is the Highway Earth Show around the Upper Franklin Canyon Reservoir in Beverly Hills on the 23rd.  If you are interested in attending I recommend  you sign up early as it Cills up. Also, if you sign up by May 15th you are eligible to have your car picked to be in their Magazine.

See you all in Temecula, Greg
