Where has the year gone? It’s already the October issue. In this month’s newsletter you will read about the local goings on in the various regions of our club. You will also get reports on the Club Events for September and see what is coming up in October and further out.
Vice President and activities planner Steve Kirby has presented us with a wide range of events; but is always looking for input from the membership on future events. One event that is in the future is the Monterey International Healey Week, September 11 – 15th 2017. This event is being hosted by the Golden Gate Healey Club (with help from the Southern California Association) and looks to be a major event in the Healey world. Please take a look at the flyers in this issue.
One of the benefits of the newsletter and website is the calendar of recurring and club events. These events, weekly and monthly get-togethers, allow you to get your Healey out to be seen and admired by other car lovers; plus you get spirit points. Those points can pile up pretty quickly, just look at this month’s top ten, car show junkie Phil Caliva is really building a lead. Just like he used to do in the Indy cars.
Finally, don’t be afraid to submit an article or picture. Everybody loves a good car story, or a tech tip that worked for you, or some new mod that you’ve installed to make your car better. Just ask Dennis Williams! That’s it…. See you on the road…
