Inland Empire Farmer Boys 1/3

Greetings Group, When I sent out the reminder for this event the forecast was for rain. Well, the threat of rain didn't bother our crew. Sure, there weren't quite as many classics as sometimes but there was no lack of people. I think we would still get a good crowd even it it was just for breakfast. We enjoy seeing everyone. It's good to see the support for our get together.

Randy Clary even came with the top down on his Jensen. A real trooper. Kudos. He also brought some friends to the event. Joe Tomaselli and Bret Van Nortwick. They are working on a 2003 Ford Thunderbird. Welcome guys. Bring it by sometime.

John Bracy brought his friend Lewis Kasner to the event. Lewis drove a super nice red '18 Mini Cooper S. John's is the black on black one.

Since we expected it to be raining I'd suggested bringing a Show and Tell gadget to share as we would be inside sooner. But it turned out it wasn't raining. We had some interesting gadgets anyway. Tom Yaeger brought a manual bench grinder that attaches to a bench top. A 6 or 8 inch grinding stone would mount on top. Then it's probably a two person affair with one cranking and one grinding.

Yea for electricity! Randy Main, a retired locksmith and antique collector, brought a very rare model 1867 Ritchie and Boyden brass padlock. Their factory was in a building shared with Thomas Edison in Newark New Jersey. Randy thinks the lock dates to about 1870. Did I mention Yea for electricity?  Dan Mensinger brought his new 2025 Ford Mustang GT. Dan has a fleet of vehicles to choose from but they all had some malady simultaneously so he just decided to get a brand new ride. Sweet. Why not.
