Well, Summer is here! I hope you are all well and getting out and enjoying the summer cruising in your beautiful cars, hanging out with friends and family, enjoying the BBQ. I hope you’ll have a GREAT 4th of July celebration.

Also, it was great to see so many of you at the tech session hosted by Phil Caliva at his shop and the LED H4 headlight upgrade demonstrated by Peter Roses on Steve Magoffin’s car for the demo.

The replacement lights are a great upgrade. I have ordered 3 sets for my cars.

CHW 2025- CHW 2025 is only 3 1/2 months away until we tour Yosemite. We are at about 78 registrants planning to attend. We continue reaching out for volunteers for the drives and event coordination, so stay tuned. It’s hard to believe it’s only 3 months to fall. It is so beautiful up there in the fall. It is Ansel Adams beautiful. As mentioned in the past, David Nock from the GGAHC is planning one of his fall colors tours just before CHW 2025. It will be going over several of the Sierra passes. David’s tour will pass through some of the gold rush back roads looking for the perfect fall scenery. As a reminder, CHW 2025 is the second week of October so I hope you will consider joining us. I know from experience that the folks already signed up are a lot of fun and this CHW is a lot more focused on the social aspect.

75th Anniversary International Healey Meet- The planning for the 75th International Healey Meet in Lake Tahoe continues. You may want to block off some time in your calendar for June 2027. The leadership team is working up another GREAT event with lots to do, lots of great cars, exhibits and drives. We plan to open registration soon for those in North America, so keep an eye out for the announcement.

New members- Please join me in welcoming two new members- Andrew Narraway and Steve Beck. Andrew hails from Long Beach and has a 63 BJ7 Mk2. Steve is from Santa Monica has two 56 BN2’s. Welcome Andrew and Steve.

I had a chance to join the C&C event at Golden Cove on the 15th, then caravan over to Phil’s for the tech session. I am constantly amazed at what a GREAT group of folks we call our Healey family; and how many more friends are into old European cars. Also, how much collective knowledge there is among our family and friends. Keep your cars out there, bringing smiles to those that see you on the road. Smile, as they tell you about their experiences with the beautiful Healey’s. As always, when considering having work done on your cars, please consider our sponsors. They help our club and provide rare and needed services and products.

As always, safe motoring and stay well!
