It has been a couple of busy months for me trying to “thin out the herd” as they say and sell a couple of my cars. All I can say is that the market for LBC's has softened considerably as we are getting older and the newer generation of enthusiasts have other interests.
The March Club event is the Festival of Whales at the Dana Point Harbor on March 8 and 9th. We will be showing our cars both days this year so you will have a choice of days in the event you are not planning to make both days. Space is limited and therefore if you are interested in showing your car you need to contact Mike Scroggie ASAP.
In April we will have several Club events and please note the dates have changed! On the 6th is the annual San Diego Rolling British Car Day in Northern San Diego County, on the 12th is the Spring Swap Meet at Steve Kirby's shop in Lake Forest, and finally the Queens English show is on the 13th at Woodley park.
May is the National Conclave in Branson, Missouri and Steve Kirby may have a couple of openings in his trip that ends up in Branson.
Contact him if interested in joining the group. On May 24-25 is the British Car Show at the Annual Scottish Fest at the Orange County Fair grounds.
