Well, it’s hard to believe, but we are halfway through the year... I hope you are getting your beautiful cars out and showing them off. The weather has been perfect for stretching their legs and getting a lot of attention. Anna and I just got back from a driving trip with the Utah Cobra Club through Northern Utah, Idaho and Montana. There are several beautiful rivers with amazing drives through the mountains and along the rivers. There was also lots to see and do along the way. Will need to work w/ Steve as one of his future epic adventures, maybe.
AHASC Elections- The results are in.... I want to thank you all for voting for this year’s Officers.
The polls have closed w/ Greg Aden continuing as VP, Anna Johansson as Treasurer, Alice Johnson as Secretary, Tim McNiff continues as our Newsletter Editor, Kathy Scroggie for Regalia, Mike Scroggie as Membership Director and I will continue as your President.
New members- Please join me in welcoming our newest members- James Bennett, Alex Kohner, and both Dex Kaytis’s son Clay Kaytis, and his daughter-in-law Monica Lago-Kaytis. James hails from Huntington Beach and has a 61 BN7 MkII.
Alex hails from LA and is also a member of the AHCA. Clay and Monica hail from Glendale and have Dex’s beautiful 60 BT7 MkI. Please join me in welcoming each of them to our Healey family.
Conclave 24- Road America Elkhart Lake Wisconsin. If you can, you may want to attend the AH Conclave 24 this year. The event is to be held Sept 15-20th. They currently have over 225 registrations. It promises to be another GREAT AH gathering. Please see the AHCA website for more details.
75th International Healey Meet- More going on. In the very near future, there will be a “keep- the-date” notice coming out with more information: when, where and more planning information. As a reminder, it is planned for September 2027 in Lake Tahoe.
CHW 2025- We are working on a couple of options for CHW 2025 and should have the location chosen in the next month. Stay tuned, will get the info out as soon as we have more to pass along. We are looking at early fall 2025 for planning purposes.

Annual AHASC Holiday party- Yep, it’s not that far away- Please block off your calendar for Sunday December 15th for our annual holiday party. Once again, George Merino has coordinated with the Shoreline Yacht Club to host our get-together. As soon as we have the website set up, we will let you know so you can sign up. As before, we will also be collecting toys and batteries for Toys-for-Tots I hope you are all able to keep your focus on our local drives and events. Please check out our website for upcoming events.
